Comment Contest

Jenna from Jenna's Journey is doing a comment contest. To participate you link up to her blog and then try to comment on 10 people's blog for 7 days. It is a way to boost comments and maybe even get some followers. I love comments (helps me keep on writing) and love my followers (all 6 of them) plus I thought I should be better at commenting rather then just reading so I signed up! I thought I would do a little introduction to myself for the people who might be linking over.

My name is Rachel and I am currently in a relationship with my boyfriend Brian. Our four year anniversary is coming up on Wednesday and I am currently waiting for a ring :).

Brian hates having his picture taken so I only get them when my mom or his mom comes into town. He doesn't dare say no to the moms :). I am usually behind the camera so there are few of me for that reason.

Brian and I are both originally from Connecticut. He is a Dolphins fan and I am a Giants fan. Neither of us care that much about college football. We are living in South Carolina at the moment which is very weird for us northerners. He moved down 20 years ago with his family and I moved down 4 years ago after college. He is more used to it then I am. Brian has just finished graduating from college (he did it the hard way after being in the work force for so long) and has gotten a great job with a cable company down here.

I went to HS at an all girl Catholic School in NY.  It was interesting. Can't tell you that I loved it or regretted it. It just was. It was probably the best place for me to be though.

I went to college in Pennsylvania outside of Harrisburg. Loved it. Met some of my best friends there and I miss them all. Two even married each other :)

After college I moved down here. I first thought I wanted to be in TV and quickly decided that learning about it was way more fun then actually doing it. I then went to work for a wonderful hotel and have recently transitioned into working with an insurance company. I met Brian a month after I came down here and we have been together ever since. My mom says we bicker like a couple married for 40 years :)

 This blog is my way of jotting down what happens in my life. I post about our trips ( I love to travel...Brian goes along for the ride), the recipes we enjoy and anything I want to remember. I try to be real and not sugar coat things and I like to post with pictures. My favorite blogs are the one's with pictures even if the pictures have nothing to do with the actual post so I try to make sure I have pictures to post along the blog.
