Ms. Mottram's "Sticky Wings"

Apparently Sticky Wings are different then wings....at least in Canada they are. That being said, her wings were amazing and she was so kind in sharing the recipe with me! It is so easy I am going to share it with you!

Ingredients:

1 cup soy sauce
1 cup vinegar (any will do we use 1/4 cup rice vinegar, 3/4 regular vinegar)
Sugar
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon garlic

1) Mix soy sauce and vinegar together
2) Add enough sugar to make the mixture gritty
3) Add the ginger and garlic, we used the dried spices rather then fresh and it was fine
4) Add chicken wings
5) Let it marinate over night
6) Bake on a baking sheet or in a 9X12 baking pan at 375 for about 1 1/2 hours

Enjoy!

We are still playing with the recipe...but that is the foundation. You may find that you want more soy sauce, less ginger, etc. Ms. Mottram is a monthly that has been making this for years so there is no longer a true recipe. This basic foundation is very good...I only ate one piece...Brian ate the rest. You be the judge on how good it is ;)
