The Wedding: The Big Day!

Sunday morning, 10/10/10, was a bit crazy. Hannah and I had to be at the hair stylist place by 8:15. Hannah's mom didnt and Sedge who was crashing on the floor didn't have to be either. It was in the morning that I realized Hannah and her mom weren't staying Sunday night so at the moment Sedge and I were roomless. So between that and trying to figure out how to get everyone where they needed to be, I was a bit stressed. Sedge and I ended up crashing in the boys room, me in one bed and 2 boys on the floor and the last in the other. Hannah's mom ended up driving all of us over.

When we got there we called Nicole who was with her mom getting her hair done. She was a bit stressed because the hair stylist got locked out of her car and was running a bit late. When we got there her mom was getting hers done, they started on ours soon after. Even with the snafu of locking the keys in the door, the hair stylist place was wonderful. Everyone looked great!

The wedding was at 11:30am. After hair and make up we went back to get Nicole and ourselves dressed as quickly as possible.

Before the wedding I had just enough time to take a shot of what the wedding site looked like after it being decorated.

The only real down side of being a bridesmaid is you cant take any pictures during the wedding...so you will have to wait for those ;). After the wedding itself we had a cocktail hour where they had excellent wine and some amazing appetizers. I have recently decided that I just do not like Scallops..they always seem to disappoint me. However, they had one appetizer of scallops which were amazing! After cocktail hour was the reception. Phil made a toast and there was LOTS of dancing involved.

The video's will come in a later post. After the wedding we all got changed and played shuffleboard. After shuffleboard we ate at Friendly's where the waitress was rude.

Monday was uneventful. Phil left at 5:30 and Sedge, Matt and I left at about 8:30 after eating an okay breakfast at the hotel. Matt drove us to his house where we hung out with his puppies and then drove us to Sedge's dorm (he is a Podiatry student at Temple) as Sedge was going to get me on a train to the airport. The trip back was fortunately uneventful and Brian picked me up and took me to dinner :)
