September was, as I thought, a very expensive food month. Part of the problem is bringing Brian but that is for another post. Worst part of September being so expensive? The food wasn't that good. Most of it was just okay but we didnt find any new favorites. If we had loved the recipes it wouldnt hurt so bad but most of the recipes left us disappointing which is making us feel it wasnt worth it.
So in trying to even it out with Octobers menu...you will notice it is quite scarce. I refuse to buy any more meat and picked cheap recipes that we only needed a few things for. There is fend a lot through the menu and I do expect us to switch up meals based on how many left overs we have. We already ordered out (I didnt want to Brian refused to let me cook) yesterday because the kitchen is such a mess.
